Speaking of this last aspect, Dotelli keeps his attention high: «We have seven points ahead of the second and at the end of the first leg there is still one day left, which we will play on Sunday 16th January against Lascaris at their home. Five years ago, when I was still wearing the jersey of the then Bollengo Albiano, at this point of the season we had twelve points ahead of the second, then at the end of the season we finished fifth, this must no longer happen ». Andrea Dotelli then explains who his reference player is: “I am a fan of Torino but I have always liked Fabian Ruiz of Napoli as a player: he is also a midfielder and is very good at finishing from outside the box, especially with the shooting around – says Dotelli ». Another player, currently striker, but who also covered the role of playmaker and winger who, in the phase of non-possession, had to fall back also in midfield, is Gabriele Parla, 20 years old from Castellamonte, under the Rivarolese, second force of the championship behind Ivrea: «I grew up as a football player in the Rivarolese area and this is certainly the most prolific year of my career in a first team: I have already scored eight goals – explains Parla. In the first season I had only scored four, then the following season two, last year, also thanks to an injury, I stayed dry and this year I got unlocked. The number of goals scored is not so important as the position of the Rivarolese. The dream is to be able to win the championship even if we know that recovering seven points at Ivrea is not at all easy. We will try, knowing that even the playoffs would be an excellent goal – explains Parla. When the championship resumes, Sunday 18 January, on the last day of the first leg we play the derby with Volpiano with us and being a derby, it will certainly be a very complicated match for both of us. The second round will be equally difficult, because everyone will want to score points to be able to hit the goals at the beginning of the season ».

Gabriele Parla then tells those who inspire him: “I’m a fan of Torino too, but the player I’ve always liked for the concentration he puts in training, the determination and the desire to win is Cristiano Ronaldo”. –
