Kappa announces its sponsorship of the VR46 Racing Team for the next three sporting seasons. Until 2026, the Omini brand will be alongside the Italian motorcycling excellence, which includes champions such as Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
From the 2024 season, the riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will wear garments designed by the Kappa R&D center at the MotoGP world championship. This collaboration strengthens the brand’s presence in the world of motorsport. Drivers, mechanics and every member of the VR46 Racing Team will wear Kappa technical clothing during the races, test days and Team events.
The team’s collection includes a line of casual clothing, also available in a fanwear version. The prevailing colors of the equipment will be black and the iconic VR46 fluorescent yellow, which will return on all the items in the collection: men’s and women’s polo shirts in technical fabric or cotton, waterproof and padded jackets, shorts, trousers, headwear and sweatshirts. The offer will be completed by a backpack, a vest and the inevitable T-Shirts, which will also feature the famous Omini logo.
To consolidate the collaboration between Kappa and VR46 Racing Team, a replica collection of team equipment will be released during the partnership, available in the spring.
Alessio Salucci, Team Director of Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team: «Wearing Kappa garments on the track can only make us proud, an Italian brand and a symbol of the highest quality in the sports universe for many decades. Bringing this great legacy to motorsport and more specifically to MotoGP is a great result. Let’s dress our ambitions in the fluorescent yellow DNA of VR46 towards new goals.”
Alessandro Boglione, Vice President of the BasicNet Group: «The sponsorship with VR46 Racing Team makes us proud.
