Kogasso beats Visic on points in the second match as a pro Tifo and applause at PalaOltrepo

In the meeting set up in Voghera by the Boxe Station, the Italian-born Congolese boxer put his Croatian opponent on the ropes during the 4 shootings

Vogherian heavyweight Jonathan Kogasso wins his second match as a professional by beating Croatian expert Toni Visic on points. The pupil of maestro Vincenzo Gigliotti gives a show in the ring set up at the PalaOltrepo in Voghera, for the meeting organized by the Boxing Station of president Giovanni Gigliotti. In a building that supported and applauded the 26-year-old Congolese naturalized Italian boxer for all 4 rounds, Kogasso immediately appeared very confident.

In the third round, Visic ends up in a corner on a combination from Kogasso. The home maximum with a right hook makes Visic wobble, but he remains standing. The Croatian aims to close without going to the ground, so he begins to escape Kogasso, who ends in crescendo.

The other meetings

The meeting had started with an equality verdict between Alberto Ragusa, Asa, against Fabrizio Preti, in the kg. 77 elite category 2. In the second match the boxer of Boxing Station Voghera Simone Longo in kg. 62 elite 2 loses on points against Mirco Leonarduzzi, Boxe Frimas. The match between the two sixteen year old boxers of the junior kg category. 54 Nicolò Fanigliulo, Boxe Sir, and Nicolò Zafarana, Boxe Barge was won on points by the latter who scored more hits. In the elite 2 kg. 60 Riccardo Bignami, Boxe Station, loses on points against Federico Ferro, Boxe Sir. He immediately attacks the boxer of the president’s gym Giovanni Gigliotti who demonstrates speed of execution and good technique. Ferro tries to argue. It starts again and Ferro places a left hook that stops Bignami. The boxer in the blue corner hits a left – right hook combination and Iron is counted. The Vogherese does not react and suffers a right and the referee counts it again. Bignami tries in the third round to recover the match by keeping the center of the square, but does not overturn the outcome of the match. In the elite category, without helmet, in kg. 65 the Pavese boxer of Boxing Hage Marvin Beltrami loses on points with Nicolò Setaro, Fighting. After a phase of study Setaro is more concrete, shows good technique and hits Beltrami, putting him on the ropes and placing two-handed combinations. Beltrami in the third immediately scores a right right, but Setaro reacts to win. In the youth kg. 72 Leo Caruso, Boxe Station, draws with Luca Maglia, Frimas. –
