First training after the summer meltdown with an eye on Covid. “We hope to be able to finish this championship”

The Limana Cavarzano Union officially begins the season. Under the orders of Mr. Parteli and his technical staff, 27 players gathered last night in Gron di Sospirolo to start the preparation that will lead to the start of the Promotion championship scheduled for September 19th. The union of the first teams made it possible to raise the bar and the yellow and red and blue will aim for the playoffs; the feeling is that the team has what it takes to fight to reach them.

“The first goal of the season is to try to start and finish the championship”, explains Parteli a few minutes before the start of the training session, “we know that again this year we will have to live with Covid, so the first goal is to succeed to end the season. How I don’t know, probably with pauses and recoveries. As for the sporting goal, we want to do well for us it means reaching the playoffs. The companies have made a major effort to unite and create this new reality. This, however, must at the same time make us start with our feet on the ground. I remember that last year in the first five games, neither Limana nor Cavarzano won a game. First of all we need to score points on the pitch ».

A LARGE ROSE

The sports director Carlo Cassol in agreement with the club and the coach has set up a squad that can count on numerous players, precisely to cope with any difficult moments caused by Covid.

«We have quality and experienced players who have also played in higher categories», continues Parteli, «I am very happy with the transfer market. I know the boys, the men before the players. I have a group of “old” people with important values, I know practically all of them. We added to them important young people from 2001 and 2003 who want to show off. Some of them have been loaned to us and I hope to be able to help them in the categories they played in or in the clubs that have lent them to us. The speech of the large squad was chosen for the covid, more players will be needed. The guys know it will be hard for everyone to win a starting position and keep it. Something personal will have to be sacrificed to try to reach the common goal of the team. The youngest know that they will have to work hard and if they show they are ready they will find a place in the first team ».

THANKS BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Finally, the coach underlines the effort made by the two clubs and appreciates the choice of some players, Limana side, who have decided to stay.

«I thank the Limana Cavarzano Union for the squad that was made available to me and I also thank in particular the guys from Limana who have downsized themselves to stay within the standards we had in Cavarzano. They showed great attachment and a desire to get involved. I am also happy with the group that I had in recent years in the Giallorossi and that I have found again. We are very excited to leave ».
