«Without a doubt, the substantial difference lies in having the opportunity to take part in the European women’s championship, made up of high-level teams made up of players who are paid and recognized as professionals. I think this experience brings a great advantage in the long run. After which the group and training must certainly be the basis. It is absolutely not easy to reconfirm every year, as the pressure is high and everyone expects something more every time. We always tell ourselves that we must keep our level high and impose the game on us. The more you win, the more satisfactions you have, while obviously always bringing respect towards the other teams ».
The movement intends to continue to grow, also in view of the Milan Cortina Games where our women’s national team of which you are a fixed point will participate by right. In the meantime, how do you rate this championship that has just ended?
«Also thanks to the addition of Padua we have reached seven formations. A good sign, also because the date of 2026… is approaching. In my opinion men’s teams should invest in girls, while I would advise them to play as long as possible with the boys. It is a way to allow them to grow more ».
Speaking of the national team, what are the next commitments?
«From 8 to 15 April we will be involved in the first division world championship – group B in Katowice, Poland. The goal is promotion to the first division – group A. The opponent to fear is China, back from a good Olympics ».
