Mature race after race, Marco Da Rold. The young Pontalpine motorcyclist on Sunday on the Ottobiano track, riding his Ohvale, won two more races and is increasingly dominating the 160 light category of the Motoasi national speed championships.

First place with full points with 67 points over second, teammate Davide Brusco: a combination that keeps the Da.Ma Racing Team firmly at the top of the constructors’ standings.

«After Saturday’s pole position», says the driver, «in race 1 we had some problems with the engine and carburetion. I managed it a lot, without ever reaching the maximum of my potential, trying to bring home the result. For race 2 dad fixed the bike. I managed to finish first, even though they didn’t give a blue flag to indicate a dub. So I ended up on the grass and the pursuer passed me. I had to make a great comeback to overtake him and get my head back, which I then kept until the end ».

In short, Marco continues to grind success and experience.

“Especially the second one,” the boy underlines. “In race 2 I had almost a second gap from the first, and thanks to the management, in the lead, I was able to recover and win the victory”.

«He is maturing a lot», reaffirms father Christian proudly. «He has to keep the baggage of these months tight, he is making him understand that in the most difficult moments he must remain calm. This weekend has been very difficult. In race 1 we had problems from start to finish, between the engine, carburetor and electrical system. It is tough to fight with these opponents. For this we must use all the experience accumulated ».

In a similar situation, in addition to technical skills, «this time the moral support of friends and colleagues really weighed. And thanks also go to the sponsors: thanks to them Da.Ma manages to make the championship », highlights the father. “The mother and sister are also important”, adds Marco, “who follow from home but are of great moral support”.
