News shakes the European market. Mario Hezonja has rejected two renewal offers from Real Madrid. Behind is Panathinaikos. He reports it Brand.
Hezonja, according to the Spanish newspaper, would not be satisfied with either the club’s offer or his role within Chus Mateo’s rotations.
On the table, Panathinaikos would have put a three-year contract worth 6 million euros net overall. A contract that Real Madrid would not be willing to match, given that the future of Tavares and Poirier is also at stake.
Mario Hezonja, born in 1995 represented by Andrew Morrison of CAA, averages 22 minutes per season between the EuroLeague and ACB. He played for Panathinaikos for five months, in 2021, upon his return from the NBA.
