Max Verstappen won the Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix, his second of the season, after winning the first in Bahrain last week. Coming second was his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, a Mexican, who had also finished second in the first Grand Prix of the season. Monegasque Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished third. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was held in Jeddah.

The other Ferrari driver, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz, was unable to participate in the race due to appendicitis: in his place the young British driver Olivier Bearman competed, who at 18 years old became the youngest rookie in the history of Ferrari and he finished seventh.
