Arsenal have submitted, now Liverpool are challenged in the exciting three-way title fight in the Premier League – and in the prestigious neighboring duel at Everton FC.
Arsenal FC put the competition under pressure in the thrilling English Premier League title race with its furious 5-0 win against Chelsea FC. The Gunners increased their lead over rivals Liverpool FC and Manchester City to three and four points respectively.
Liverpool can follow suit this Wednesday at (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker at Sportschau) but must defeat Everton FC in the Liverpool derby.

The local rivals are still in the relegation battle with a five point lead in 18th place. Everton were deducted eight points for violating profitability and sustainability rules.
Setbacks for Klopp and Liverpool
Liverpool has recently suffered a number of setbacks: 2-2 against Manchester United and 0-1 against Crystal Palace in the league, as well as the Europa League exit against Atalanta Bergamo. “I think up until two weeks ago everything was better than everyone expected. And then you have this week – although the performances weren’t as bad as the results,” said Klopp.

After his announcement that he would be leaving the club in the summer, the search for a successor is underway. English media recently brought a new name into play: Arne Slot, coach of Feyenoord Rotterdam since 2021, is said to be high on the list.
