Moscow awaits news. “I don’t know anything about the future, the Dolomites are the priority”

“I’m available,” says Stefano Mosca. To sit around a table to talk, first of all. To stay also, if there is the possibility.

The season ended at the Dolomiti Bellunesi home, although in reality some training sessions will still be held, both this and next week. The breaking of lines is expected only at the end of the month, with an appointment between the middle and the end of July for the meeting in view of the next championship.

To whom this invitation will be extended, however, is not entirely clear. Or rather, some indiscretion leaks out, but there cannot be anything official yet. All the more so now, with the new general manager Luca Piazzi engaged in choosing the coach and consequently identifying the squad most congenial to the company’s ambitions.

Stefano Mosca seems to be one of the guys in the balance between reconfirmation and the “thank you and goodbye”.

Stefano, you are one of the most experienced players in the group. How are you facing the possibility of radical changes compared to this season’s team?

“I believe the only thing to do in these situations is to listen to what we will be told.”

In your case, therefore, will you use this strategy, or do you already have personal ideas on how and where to continue your football journey?

“I don’t know anything about my future yet, maybe the journalists have more information. I’m keeping to what I read in the print media. However, I imagine in the next few weeks I too will have more certainties. For sure, the club with which I finished the championship always has priority for me. If they are interested in having the undersigned still in the team, we will talk about it in a calm way and everyone will make their own assessments, compatibly with personal commitments, work and so on. Otherwise no problem. But I repeat, it is really difficult to say something now because next year’s topic has not been addressed ».

And what about the football year just ended, what can you tell us?

«That for me there were two championships in one. On the first leg we alternated different performances for a period. All normal, however, having put together three different realities with the consequent need to get to know each other. Once we have found balance and compactness, we are in fact in the playoff area. The return, on the other hand, is as always another story, compared to what happens until December. Many slow down, see for example Arzignano who had to win the championship on the last day despite the many points advantage at one point. Without a doubt, our path has been conditioned by various factors ».

Seventh place: more regrets or more “okay”?

“I can’t say for sure. The placement is good, but we lacked a little something in the head-to-head matches and in the specific races where you really didn’t have to leave anything on the road. See for example the trip to Campodarsego ».

The attitude of you players in the races with Alessandro Ferro at the helm can be promoted. You did not show him, however, in the last period of Lauria as coach.

«If you change your technique, the shock is always there. Anyone who arrives on the bench. Ferro gave us some of him, because he was good, but we had shown something good anyway even before. At a certain moment, however, there was a lack of serenity ».
