Spielberg, 14 August 2021 – Today the starting grid for the Austrian GP will be decided on the Red Bull Ring, the second round of the World Championship on the historic Spielberg circuit after last weekend’s Styrian GP. But so far, after the first two free practice sessions on Friday, and the third session this morning, the second Austrian weekend does not appear to be a duplicate of what it was 7 days ago. For everyone it is a new opportunity to do well, starting with those who have a disappointing first round to redeem. This is the case of the official Ducatis and of Francesco Bagnaia which in the Fp3 has closed at the command. The Ducati rider closes his lap in 1’22 “874 and precedes the Yamaha of the world leader Fabio Quartararo (94 thousandths) and the Pramac of Johann Zarco (138 thousandths away). They also fall in the top ten times of the combined classification Marc Marquez (Honda), Jack Miller (Ducati) and Joan Mir (Suzuki), while he is out Valentino Rossi (Petronas) who marks the 15th overall time and will have to go through Q1. Suzuki’s also out Alex Kidneys and the Ktm of Miguel Oliveira.

Be Guevara he is the fastest in the third and final Moto3 free practice session. The Spaniard places his GasGas in front of everyone with a time of 1’35 “838, ahead of the Turkish Sea Oncu (Ktm) of 66 thousandths and the Spanish Sergio Garcia (GasGas) of 69 thousandths. They also fall within the 14 best times of the combined standings Dennis Foggia (seventh on the Honda) e Romano Fenati (Husqvarna, eighth), while he is out of only one position Andrea Migno which will pass through Q1.
