Marco Bezzecchi won the French GP from the MotoGP preceding the pair of Ducati Pramac George Martinsecond, and Johann Zarco, third. The team driver Mooney VR46the second success in the premier class of the season, has dominated the race taking advantage of the withdrawals of ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia e Maverick Vinales, who came into contact in the initial stages and were forced to retire. The accident between the two world champions took place at the bend, when the Ducati and Aprilia touched.
Both went off the track while in third and fourth positions. After the fall Bagnaia and Vinales also have argued blaming each other for the accident. Then, once back boxthe two shook hands. Theirs wasn’t the only crash on Sunday. Also Luca Marini e Alex Marquez they were forced to retire after hitting the ground.
“Fantastic victory, I can finally cut my mustache because I don’t like it… It was one fantastic race, I looked for the rhythm, I felt great on the bike. I dedicate the victory to the boys of scuderia and to my fans”, said Bezzecchi after the triumph. Now the Mooney VR46 team rider is second in the world ranking con 65 points behind Bagnaia, who remains first with 87. The bottom step of the podium is occupied by the South African Brad Binder on KTM with 62 points.
