Serie C, goalless draw between two teams who prefer not to risk
OLBIA. Okay, a point doesn’t move the waters, but it’s better than nothing. More or less the thought that in the final he must have touched all twenty-two heads on the field. Olbia and Siena play not to suffer, more than to hit each other. A goalless draw is a positive result, but the final sprint that is asked of the whites is not yet there.
At Nespoli it starts in diesel mode, and the first occasion brings the colors of Siena. Fifteen minutes into the game, Guberti inspires action on several occasions that sees Ciocci fighting back with his fists in the small area and then on Guillaumier’s counter. Olbia comes out as the minutes pass, certainly Biancu among the most active both when he tries to trigger his teammates and when he tries the personal solution. But no real danger in the mirror of the Sienese door.
Even in the second half, the first action worthy of note is for the guests, Cardoselli five minutes from returning to the field is scary with a shot from close range. The sphere, however, ends outside, albeit slightly. The conclusion from the long or medium distance becomes the only useful solution given the adverse weather, rain and wind, and the conditions of the field.
