(ANSA) – VERONA, 05 MAY – Verona scores a blow by beating Fiorentina 2-1 and gaining three very important points in the key to survival. In the standings the Scaligeri have risen to 34 points, five more than third to last Udinese and Sassuolo. However, the Friulians still have to play a match. The Viola with 50 points – the same as Napoli but with a better goal difference – are stuck in eighth place, the last valid for qualification for the Conference League. The rossoblu broke the deadlock with Lazovic in the 13th minute but suffered an equalizer from Castrovilli in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Noslin’s goal in the 14th minute was decisive.
