Party on penalties and championship at Broomball Belluno

FELTRE. The yellow-blue flag is planted in the center of the PalaFeltre. Broomball Belluno is champion of Italy for the fourth time. A seal that adds to a showcase that also boasts a European title.
Yesterday was a great celebration, after a real sporting battle against Egna, the only team capable of beating the Belluno players in the regular season, in which penalty shots were necessary to decide on which jersey the tricolor next season.
A perfect day, which began with the other finals and then with the launch of the ice hockey pucks for the lottery organized by the Belluno club (those who came closest to the center went to baskets with local specialties).

The atmosphere rose upon entering the field, with Belluno initially deployed by coach Kupec with captain Danilo Canei, Appamea, Farenzena, Cagnati and the young Lotto.
Even in the stands a match is played in the match and there is no shortage of smoke bombs and trumpets for the opponents; balloons and banners for the Belluno griffins.
After a very first phase in favor of the Bolzano players, Belluno takes the field and dominates. It is 1-0 for the hosts and the enthusiasm on the stands lights up. The hosts work very well on the balustrade and try to track down the Bolzano players, who instead try to take advantage of the great speed of their forwards. Pierobon, Farenzena and Da Rold try again with shots from a distance, which however do not worry the number one guest.
But just in the best moment of the yellow-blue Neumarkt Egna equalized in the 8th minute. Erroraccio in the defensive phase, with the very fast Mayr who flies all alone from the middle of the field and in the area with a lob overcomes Ampezzan at the exit.
The match becomes balanced, but the guests galvanize themselves after the equalizer and try to put the Belluno people in difficulty. In the final two minutes forcing from Bolzano, with a super double save by “Abo” Ampezzan that saves the result.
More nervous recovery, but always correct, even if with a few too many faults, like that of Bertignol on Pioggia which forces the guests to a “reinforced” penalty of five minutes. The yellow and blue, however, as in previous occasions, are unable to exploit the superiority.
The equal to the regulations gives the public 10 minutes of overtime. The Belluno controls, but fatigue makes itself felt and we therefore go to penalties, the right crowning of a splendid and hard-fought final.
The Griffins from Belluno have the best of the shots from the spot thanks to the goals of Farenzena and Danilo Canei, before the decisive mistake of the guests with the ball that goes off to the side.
At PalaFeltre it is a “big party”, Belluno is again champion of Italy.
