“The fact that the play was our best player means a lot – underlines D’Alessandro – in the vision that coach Di Bella has, the director plays a fundamental role, because he must be able to put in the field in the best way a game system made not of the call of a scheme but of many readings of the opposing team and of how the teammates move. It is not obvious and it is not easy to do it well. I can say that Simoncelli’s was a good test, because it is not a simple game system, not everyone has tried it and being able to assimilate it in a short time is important.
