«I am very happy to have played this match because my players needed to compete with a team of the same category – underlines coach Fabio Di Bella – the response was positive and the team showed a good attitude. I’ve had feedback on the work we’re doing this week. We are training a lot both from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. We are putting many minutes in the legs and playing against a real opponent was important to understand if we are on the right path. During the game we tried to work more and more constantly on what we are training on. From a defensive point of view, this time more than the previous ones we have shown a remarkable communication attitude, so I can say that we have taken an important step forward ».
In Crema to win
Pavia is refining its work towards Sunday’s challenge and towards the championship. «I look above all at the debut in the championship on October 3 – explains Di Bella – even if it is clear that we will go to Crema to win, because I have a group that does not want to lose even in 5 against 5 in training. The goal is to play a leading season. Mine is a team that has talent, a lot of well-distributed competition, but which must avoid drops in tension as much as possible. The match in Crema in this sense will be an important test because the passage to the next round of the Super Cup is at stake, we must be ready ».
