Anna Porcari junior Italian champion in the 200 butterfly. The fourteen-year-old from Gardigiano climbed to the top step of the podium at the Swimming Stadium in Rome. The eclectic swimmer of the Stilelibero Preganziol – Team Veneto, a company associated with Lisporteam360, never ceases to amaze in a particularly happy year for her, given that a fortnight ago, fresh from the convocation by coach Roberto Marinelli in the youth blue jersey, won the individual bronze and team gold at the European Open Water Championships at the Parc de Choisy Le Roi in Paris. During the quarantine period she trained hard, confirms her coach Andrea Franconetti, even twice a day to maintain her aerobic strength by adapting with training systems never tried and using different means such as the rowing machine.
Its best quality is the fact of wanting to excel in every field, both school and sports. She doesn’t just want to participate but try to climb the top and the results also come from her great willpower that push her to train harder without ever complaining during the effort. At the Stadio del Nuoto in Rome, where she participated together with about fifteen athletes from her club, accompanied by the coach Luca Lucchetta and the coach Andrea Franconetti, she won the 200 butterfly on a batch of 32 athletes from all over Italy. Knowing his qualities as a cross-country skier, his final race was certainly studied, passing as the last time in the first 50 meters and then relaxing and passing to 100 meters in 1.0376, 150 in 1. 37, 90 and ending with an excellent 2. 12. 88 thus relegating to second place the Milanese Paola Borrelli (Gestisport) who finished with 2. 13. 36 and in third place the Bolognese Giulia Zampelli (C. Azzurra) 2. 13. 44, both from 2005 while Anna is from 2006. –
