PORDENONE. The meaning of the project was precisely this: to bring the fans to the stadium, relying on the appeal of a seaside town like Lignano. In the previous year, due to the pandemic, the goal could not be achieved. Now the music is different. Tourists and fans are expected for a month of great football at Teghil. Yes, because Pordenone, from Sunday 8 to Saturday 21 August, plays three games in a row at the Sabbiadoro facility.
Sunday is scheduled for the first match, the one with Bologna, valid as the last summer friendly (kick-off at 20.30); On Friday 13th the 32nd of the Italian Cup final will be played with Spezia (at 5.45 pm) and finally on Saturday 21st the debut in the Serie B championship with Perugia of the former Sasà Burrai is scheduled (if he is not sold first, the start at 18). In all, these are two meetings with Serie A rivals and with a rival of the same category for the start of the new tournament: a nice menu, no doubt about it, even if the supporters of Pordenone would like to attend this show in a plant in your city.
While waiting for a stadium along the Noncello, Lignano will host the green lizards throughout the upcoming season, being able to involve tourists especially in this period. In fact, the coast can count on many vacationers, who after a day spent on the beach can take the opportunity to witness live high-level matches, already valid for the passage of the round (the one with La Spezia) or for the championship (with Perugia). It is therefore foreseeable that, for all matches but especially for the latter two, there will be a good turnout.
Of course, the places available are limited. 1000 tickets are on sale for the friendly match against Bologna. For now, more than 500 have been distributed. It is not excluded that they will be sold out on the day of the match.
