After the first two “negativized” there is optimism about new returns to the group, on Thursday the squad list for the Brescia match
PORDENONE. If all goes well, Pordenone will soon re-embrace three other players in the team group. Important news are expected by the hour regarding the reintegration of other elements among those who had contracted Covid. A green light that will make them eligible for the away match in Brescia, scheduled for Friday (at 7 pm), a race that will mark the return of the green lizards more than two weeks after the last match played.
The first two “negativized” have already joined their teammates last Sunday, now we just have to wait for more good news in view of the Rigamonti match.
In all, there were 12 players who tested positive at Covid: for the return of the other seven it will still take a little patience. Presumably at least a couple could already return for next Monday’s match, in Lignano against Entella, while the total availability of the players should arrive in the second weekend of April, the one following the Easter weekend. We proceed with small steps towards normality, although the conditions under which they will reappear under the orders of mister Tesser will be a question mark.
Both in Serie B and Serie A (remaining only in high-level football) it was possible to see that the times to get back into shape vary from sportsman to sportsman. There is therefore great expectation also to know the list of those called up for the match in Brescia, which will give the picture of the evolving situation in these hours. Participants in the Brescia away game should be announced tomorrow evening. By now many clubs, giving as little information as possible, try to get some small advantage: every detail can be essential to win a game or at least bring home a positive result, especially if you are going through a difficult moment as Pordenone is experiencing now.
Captain Stefani and his teammates, however, will first of all be called to another important performance after the one offered in Empoli: at best they will face the match without seven elements and with others who have just returned from their respective injuries. This is the case, the latter, of Barison, Butic, Pasa and Bassoli, called to grit their teeth to return to the team and offer their contribution.
Difficult conditions, at least as regards recent history, have often exalted Pordenone, who will have to draw on their pride and fighting spirit to win at least one point and restart after the defeat at Castellani. There is a need not only for the ranking, but also for morale.
