Pordenone thinks of Scala dreaming of a speedy ascent

PORDENONE. The match against Cosenza, the third to last day of the championship, is scheduled for Monday, but in the meantime Pordenone continues to think about the future.

And in this regard, the name of the possible new sporting director appears. Matteo Scala could be the replacement for Emanuele Berrettoni, whose contract expires in June. At the end of that tournament, the move to Serie C at Bari, a club of the De Laurentiis family like Napoli, in the position of sporting director. Subsequently, in 2020-’21, after two years in Puglia, he arrived at Naples, this time as a team manager, to then return to cover the role of ds since last July at Fermana.

Moreover, in the Marche region at the beginning of the championship he had worked with Maurizio Domizzi, former mister of the lizards, last July with the yellow and blue after the experience on the banks of the Noncello. Now for Scala it could be the turn of Pordenone, a club that over the years has developed a good relationship with the Campania man-market. At De Marchi he would work side by side with Matteo Lovisa, head of the technical area.

If the operation were to go through, they will conduct negotiations, which will begin to take off in the coming weeks.

The first piece to be filled will be that of the coach, considering that Tedino will not remain. Mimmo Di Carlo, formerly of Vicenza, is the most popular name. Then the players and, among the names that have been made, there are those of Burrai (it would be a return, from Perugia) and Sgarbi, striker of Legnago owned by Napoli.
