José Mourinho was sacked from Rome. The Giallorossi club has announced that the Portuguese coach and his technical collaborators “will leave the club with immediate effect”. The news comes with a note from the Giallorossi club on its official website. “We thank José on behalf of all of us at AS Roma for the passion and commitment he has shown since his arrival in the Giallorossi”, declared the American owners of the club, Dan and Ryan Friedkin. “Thank you for these two years“, the words of José Mourinho as he left Trigoria.
De Rossi new coach
The Roma bench has been entrusted to Daniele De Rossi. “DDR” has been “appointed as the new Technical Manager of the First Team to 30 June 2024“, communicated the Giallorossi club with a note. “We are happy to be able to hand over the technical responsibility of AS Roma to Daniele De Rossi, as we believe that the leadership and ambition that have always distinguished him can be decisive in chasing the objectives that the team has ahead of it until the end of the season”, they stated Dan and Ryan Friedkin. The post appeared on X (ex Twitter) with “Goodbye, Rome” and the photo of the Conference League won in Tirana is a false profile of José Mourinho. The post, immediately after the news of the exemption, went around the web in a very short time, misleading everyone (having the blue tick that characterizes certified profiles). Only later did the writing “I’m not José Mourinho“, that is to say “I am not José Mourinho“.
