Roma have won the Serie A of women’s football for the second consecutive year

Roma women won the Serie A football championship for the second consecutive year. They became mathematical champions of Italy on Friday evening, following the defeat of second-placed Juventus 2-0 against Inter. With three days to go in the championship playoffs, Roma have 61 points, 11 more than Juventus. The team is coached by Alessandro Spugna and is made up of several players from the Italian national team, including captain Elisa Bartoli, Manuela Giugliano, Elena Linari and Valentina Giacinti.
