Rouen, Angers and Grenoble, who occupy the first three places in the Ligue Magnus standings, won again on Tuesday during the 41st day of the regular season (there are only three days left before the play-offs; Rouen and Grenoble also have a match in hand each).
Grenoble wins at the end of the match
The Rouen Dragons, leaders, beat Marseille (4-3), thanks in particular to a double from Vincent Nesa. The reigning French champions led 4-1, before their opponent scored twice in the last two minutes.
The Dukes of Angers, second, won against Bordeaux (2-0), with goals from Téo Sarlieve and Philippe Halley, and with an airtight Evan Cowley in front of the cage (34 saves). The Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble won in Chamonix (2-1), thanks to Nicolas Deschamps and Martin Latal, scorers in the last period. Tom Aubrun, the Chamonix goalkeeper, held his ground for a long time, making 48 saves.
Amiens fifth in the ranking
Amiens won in Nice (7-4), with doubles from Antonin Plagnat and Zachary Lavigne, and stole fifth place in the standings in Marseille. After five defeats in a row, Cergy-Pontoise finally won, in Anglet (4-1), carried by Sebastian Ylönen, its goalkeeper, also goalkeeper for the France team, author of 48 saves.
Finally, in the Hautes-Alpes derby, Gap won in Briançon (4-2), after being led 2-0. If the two teams now have the same number of points, Gap has returned last place in the ranking to its opponent of the day. Barring an accident, Amiens, Marseille and Cergy-Pontoise should join Rouen, Angers, Grenoble and Bordeaux in the play-offs, the last ticket being played normally between Chamonix and Nice.
