Sandri wants a beautiful Treviso, or rather Soave

The Caldiero coach is part of the race for the Biancoceleste bench. Zecchin all’Adriese, Andreolla waits

TREVISO

Cristian Soave he is strongly inserted in the race for the Treviso bench. It could be the decisive week for the choice of the new Biancocelesti coach. Yes, because now the Serie D (except for playoffs and playoffs) and Excellence championships have ended, negotiations have already begun with potential opponents to grab the best players on the market and the Biancocelesti do not want to act as spectators. Furthermore, the question of the category does not seem to be a problem: already a year ago at the beginning of June agreements had been made with Enrico Cunico when it was not known whether the championship would be that of Promotion or Excellence. This year, however, there is a lukewarm optimism in via Ugo Foscolo and the almost certainty of competing in the top regional championship.

Returning to the question of the new coach, among the names circulating in the capital, Gianpiero leaves the scene Zecchin, ormi to the greetings to Mestre, which seems to have now reached an agreement with Adriese. Instead, contacts with the current Caldiero Terme coach Cristian Soave seem to be well underway who, according to some rumors, has had the opportunity to meet the Biancoceleste management on at least a couple of occasions. The 46-year-old Veronese coach has a past as a prolific forward playing two seasons in Serie C2, counting a lot of Serie D and ending his career as a player in Excellence and then embarking on the path of the coach. Without taking any sabbatical, Mr. Soave’s experience on the bench begins with Team Santa Lucia in the highest regional category, then moves on to Villafranca which leads to Serie D, to Dro always in the national amateur championship and finally to Caldiero Terme, which he has been training for four years and with which he got another promotion in the fourth series. In the last season, with the victory on the last day against Montebelluna last Sunday, the Veronese coach brought the yellow-green to the historic playoffs to play for Serie C with a team that showed good play and that focused a lot on individual qualities of the players, especially for the offensive department. Soave, among other things, seems to perfectly reflect the identikit of the coach that Treviso is aiming for: someone who comes from Serie D, who has at least obtained a promotion from Excellence, who is young and who is willing to carry out a medium-long term project. Of course, Sandro’s hypothesis should not be ruled out Andreolla, always close to Portogruaro too. –
