Now as then, in the capital, strong emotions are experienced – despite the absence of the public in the stands – because both the male sextet (the Da Rold Logistics) and the female one (linked to the Cortina Express brand) are in full battle in the promotion playoffs. .
Saturday at 20 the B2 women’s team will take the field at the Zoppas Arena in the second leg final to try to subvert the predictions and put a spoke in the wheels of Conegliano (which starts from 3-0 in the first leg). Also on Saturday, but at 20.30, the men’s B team will travel to Schiavonia to compete for access to the fourth round against Monselice. Poletto and his players start from the very precious 3-1 of the first leg.
“A few years ago”, says Stefano Da Rold, “some managers of Volleyball Belluno came to visit us in the company and asked for a small contribution for a team that, at the time, was in D. My brother and I looked at each other: a simple nod and we accepted instantly. The goal was immediately clear: to make Belluno sportsmen fall in love with volleyball. And, consequently, they filled the De Mas sports hall. And I am sure that, as soon as the opportunity arises, fans will return to fill the stands. Maybe, starting from the next playoff round, even with the limitations of the case: but being able to count on just a hundred fans would be the top ».
In recent months, the teams from the capital have been able to win and thrill.
«I found a group of super professional girls», comments Stefano Da Rold, team manager of the women’s sextet, «who gave me incomparable emotions. I thank them and the splendid staff led by coach Dario Pavei, an attentive connoisseur of the subject, as well as an exquisite person. As for the men, it is now known that we are aiming for promotion to the A3 series ».
