After the break observed last Sunday, the tennis team championships restart. In A1, the fifth day of the group stage. In 3, after the bitter defeat against Bolzano, thanks to the controversial disqualification of the French Antoine Hoang, Selva Alta Vigevano faces the away match on the field of Tc Genova to try to avoid at least the play outs. Now, in fact, the ranking sees Baldi and his companions in third position with 4 points behind the very successful leaders Tc Rungg Suditorl (9) followed by Tc Genova (8) while in last position there is the Tc Comunali Vicenza at an altitude of 1. The formula of the championship foresees that the four group winners will advance to the scudetto semifinals, while the second ones will conclude their journey with confirmation in A1. For third and fourth, however, play outs crossed with other groups to avoid relegation to A2. Basically, Selva Alta must win in Genoa to hope to reach second place if there are favorable combinations.
In provisional fourth position in group 4 of the men’s A2 series (two rounds from the end) is the Motonautica Pavia which tomorrow will host the Bologna Tennis Club to confirm itself in the medium-high areas of its group where the first three classified will access the play off, fourth and fifth will be confirmed in the category, the sixths will play the play outs to avoid B1, where the seventh classified will end directly at the end of the group stage. –
