Practically far from Palaverde, Treviso Basket lost only to Napoli, not calculating, for the known reasons, the match in Bologna against Milan. As we know, it is in the ability to win away from home that the strength and maturity of a team are measured. And certainly this Nutribullet, capable of hitting a couple of heavy hits within a few days, is proving to already have its own precise dimension. Above all it has the players to whom to give the ball in the point-to-point finals, the classic go to guy, indispensable if you want to bring home certain races. In Trento, Tomas Dimsa and Mihal Sokolowski had achieved little or nothing before 38 minutes, especially in the long range shot pans upon pans. And we are talking about two specialists, especially the first. In the last two minutes, however, they have scored a bomb each, both very heavy that have clipped the wings of the Eagle. Obviously the merit is not only theirs: Nicola Akele’s performance was extraordinary. But their feats remain in the mind.

Sokolowski, how do you feel after that table bomb…?

«Very well, especially because I managed to help my teammates win. I know I’ve missed a lot of shots before, but it happens every now and then. You simply don’t have to stop shooting and as in my case it can happen to put the most important shot. I am aware that I was also a bit lucky, but I am happy both for myself and for the team ».

You have redeemed the internal blow with Sassari.

«We are very happy, two points we needed after losing two consecutive games and suffering in the match against Sassari, in which we fought to the end and sacrificed for each other. But that wasn’t enough. In short, it was nice to win again. And in addition, doing it in the Champions League and in the Italian league has given us confidence. Now we hope to continue on this path ».

How is the team in general?

«We are really well for this very positive start to the season. After so many victories between the Super Cup and the BCL qualifiers, we expected to have a decline. As a team, overcoming these kinds of problems will surely help us become more united and stronger. It is always easy to be united when you win, but I really hope that these moments will serve us precisely to be more compact in the face of difficulties in the coming months ».

Did you expect such a start to the season?

“To be honest, yes. When the team feels good and is aware of their abilities, I always expect to win and that everyone gives their best. I knew that we would be able to do it and that there would also be some drops, but we hope to continue in this direction ». –
