South Sudan rewrites history and qualifies for Paris 2024

Thanks to the victory over Angola, South Sudan achieved a historic qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
This is the first time at the Olympics for the national team “created” by Luol Deng.

South Sudan qualified as the best African team in the World Cup. With the defeat of Egypt, South Sudan are the only team from the African continent to have three victories under their belt.
