THE TESTIMONIAL
It is up to Barbara Bonansea, one of the top players in women’s football, to promote the initiative of the G5 Optical Centers in Auronzo which, with the new line of eyewear just launched, will finance the purchase of a defibrillator for the community. Yesterday at 6 pm the Italian player and Juventus center forward welcomed the numerous fans who came to the Lozza brothers’ shop for a selfie and an autograph; the opportunity, in fact, to promote the arrival on the market of the new line of eyewear, called “Auronzo”, the proceeds of which will be used in part to purchase and donate a defibrillator to the Municipality of Auronzo.
THE INITIATIVE
It was the owners of Optics G5, the brothers Gianpaolo and Giovanni Lozza, who had the idea of inviting the Italian footballer to promote their latest creation, which was already launched to the public last week in the presence of the mayor Tatiana Pais Becher. And so last night there were numerous fans who, lined up outside the shop in via Dante Alighieri, patiently waited their turn to take a photo and receive an autograph from Bonansea. «Thanks to a mutual friend», explains Gianpaolo Lozza, «we were able to invite this exceptional football player to our shop; we asked her to help us advertise one of our products precisely because we intend to use part of the proceeds to purchase a defibrillator, a life-saving system that will be installed in one of the town’s squares. Times? We hope already for August ».
ARRIVAL IN THE STORE
After a few days of vacation in Auronzo and a morning spent in the mountains, Barbara Bonansea reached the center of Auronzo and, with the fans waiting, entered the G5 center where, after a series of shots with the “Auronzo” glasses, he dedicated his time to greet fans of the world of football who were waiting to take a photo or to have a t-shirt or a simple piece of paper signed. «Barbara is a simple but splendid girl», Gianpaolo Lozza continues, «and I am sure she will help us to promote eyewear whose sale will also benefit the territory. It is a pleasure for us to have her here, she also met with many young fans of the football sector ». It’s just a pity that the girl was unable to say a single word, perhaps simply to tell the emotion of a holiday in the village of the Three Peaks. It seems Juventus needed authorization …
THE LOZZA BROTHERS
AND THE WORLD OF SPORT
Bonansea’s arrival in Auronzo is no coincidence. The Lozza brothers in the village have always been very active in the world of sport, and for many years Giovanni was also the president of Auronzo. «We were born here in the village», emphasizes Giovanni, the other member of the G5, «and, even if we no longer live there, our commitment to enhance the country is always there. It is almost a moral obligation that we have towards this country that has seen us born and grow up ».
THE CADORINO GLASSES
One hundred percent Cadore quality: the tradition of the Lozza brothers, in fact, has very distant origins. It was the great-great-grandfather Giovanni Lozza who, together with Angelo and Leone Frescura, started the first eyewear shop in Cadore in 1878. From there the story of all subsequent generations began. «At first only as an industry», Giovanni recalls, «then, since 2004, with two direct sales centers in Auronzo and Scorzè, in the Venetian area».Valentine’s own
