Spring, the awakening of the mosquito: the risk of Dengue also in Italy

Dengue: two million cases and over a thousand deaths in Brazil since the beginning of the year represent a record. Italy is still calm: cases of tropical fever transmitted by mosquitoes are limited to a few travelers abroad. However, the beginning of spring brings closer the awakening of mosquitoes, vectors of the Dengue virus and other infections typical of warm climates which are also expanding in Europe.
