● Finally, at 8.00 pm, at the PalaBorsani in Castellanza (in Via Legnano, 3) the last great match will be played, which will truly be a party to celebrate basketball and friendship.

“Regardless of the results obtained and the fields we have played on, for us this day is a way to celebrate everything we have experienced and built through sport. We want to share this moment with many people, from colleagues to friends to the community that has always supported us. It will be a day dedicated to basketball, which will involve children and families in the Legnano playground that we built with Slums Dunk and will end with a celebrity match, with many guests, including colleagues and friends. We’ve thought of something big for this match and we can’t wait to get on the pitch.” – comment Bruno Cerella and Tommaso Marino.

The day will be dedicated to supporting the Slums Dunk OdV, founded in 2011 by Bruno and Tommaso, with the aim of revitalizing the outskirts of the most disadvantaged slums in the world and offering growth opportunities to children and young people. They, together with their families, will be the protagonists of this day of games and fun.

At #TB4SlumsDunk two great careers will be celebrated: that of Bruno Cerella, a Serie A basketball player with Argentine origins and Italian citizenship, who arrived in Italy at the age of 17 and achieved prominent positions in the national basketball scene, also playing for the national team. He played in teams such as Pallacanestro Varese, Olimpia Milano, Reyer Venezia and Blu Basket Treviglio, where he is concluding his career. Tommaso Marino, however, made his debut in Serie A with Mens Sana Siena and, after representing the national team in the U-18 and U-20 categories, he played for teams such as Teramo Basket, Blu Basket Treviglio and the Legnano Basket Knights, his current team. Tickets for the match can be purchased here and all proceeds will be donated to the OdV Slums Dunk.
