Roberto Salterio is the new coach of the Pavia Academy, a team that has just finished fifth in the women’s Serie C championship. Yesterday morning the announcement and official presentation of the new coach, 49 years old, of Motta Visconti, by the president of the club Giorgio Benaglia, the vice president Katiuscia Niscardi and the sports director from Pavia Alessandro Albani.

Salterio takes the place of Corrado Martinotti, coach of the last few years, with whom the relationship ended on the eve of the last championship, after the defeat against Lucchese. Salterio has thirty years of experience in the world of football, between the youth sector and the first men’s and women’s teams. In “pink” football, Salterio obtained a double promotion from C to B with Riozzese in 2018-19, an amazing year that also culminated in the victory of the Italian Serie C Cup, then with Cortefranca in 2020-21. In the last season after the departure from Cortefranca, which ended early, she gave a hand in female Excellence at Minerva Milano.
