The APU is waiting for Gaspardo’s yes: the hypothesis of Palumbo and Cesana in tandem appears

The two guards could arrive but in this case Mussini would not remain

UDINE. Hot market for the Apu Old Wild West. The Juventus club is active on various tracks and within a couple of days it plans to complete the Italian fleet and then dedicate itself to the second foreigner. Depending on the outcome of the negotiations, a domino effect will be unleashed, especially in the external department.

GASPARDO DREAM

Stalemate situation for the wing of Vidulis, but the management does not give up. The APU has illustrated its proposal to the entourage of Raphael Gaspardo, released from Brindisi, and knows that everything will depend on what will happen in Serie A. The impression is that the player is waiting for the moves of Virtus Bologna, in search of the substitute by Amar Alibegovic: the number one goal of the “black Vs”, however, is Achille Polonara. In any case, the Udine club will not wait forever for Gaspardo’s decision, also because the roster must be defined quickly. Also beware of the possible joints, if the Gaspardo shot were to hit, for the second USA it would focus on a guard-wing.

EXTERNAL BALLOTING

Decisive hours for the definition of the small department. The negotiations with the play-guards Mattia Palumbo and Luca Cesana are in the details, and it is not certain that one of the two excludes the other. Palumbo is more of a passer and has an important physical size (198 centimeters), Cesana is a shooter and is more explosive. Also in this case the pieces of the puzzle must be carefully arranged, since the renewal of Mussini is still on standby. It is clear that there is no room for all three on the roster.

THE UNDER

With a view to giving Boniciolli a deep roster, there is also an interest in several young players with Under status. Two hot names: Nicola Berdini and Alessandro Ferrari, both born in 2003 and called up by the Under 20 National Team which will play the European Championships in Montenegro from 16 July. The first is a Reyer school play who has gained experience in A2 in Biella and Ravenna in the last two seasons. The second is a small forward trained in Borgomanero, a team with which he played an excellent B tournament last year.

There is no evidence of a Pellegrino release. The Sicilian pivot returns from his vacation in the States today and will soon sign the renewal.
