The FIGC opens an investigation into Commisso’s sentences to the Financial Times

by admin

The head of the FIGC federal prosecutor, Giuseppe Chinè, has just opened an investigation into the statements of the president of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, published yesterday by Financial Times. The opening of the procedure – explain sources from the prosecutor’s office to Ansa – serves “to verify whether it is a question of damaging declarations against other members”.

In the interview Commisso had used strong phrases, starting with the Artemio Franchi stadium, defined as «the most shitty thing that has ever been invented. What’s his story? They have won two championships in 90 years. The bureaucracy is driving me crazy ». Commisso had touched on various topics including that of investments, underlining how “he has already spent 340 million in Fiorentina”, also including the initial amount to take over the company.

There was also talk of Dusan Vlahovic, the Fiorentina forward who will not renew with the club and will be sold: “He grew up here – states Commisso – and should give the club gratitude”. Finally, commenting on the investigation into Juventus on the question of capital gains, Commisso let himself go to a “in the US the shareholders would sue all those children of … excuse the language”. The Fiorentina boss then said that «there are also jealousies, it’s true. Because who else did what I did in Italy? Do you want me to list them? Not the Lambs. The grandfather, perhaps, not the grandchildren. Not Gordon Singer at Milan. Not that Suning guy. They use other people’s money ».
