Hermea Olbia conquers the playing field of Lpm Bam Mondovì with a score of 3-2, and immediately makes it clear that they want to play a leading role in the playoffs of the women’s A2 volleyball championship.
A result by no means taken for granted for the team led on the bench by Dino Guadalupi, who arrived in the second phase of the season as sixth classified in group A, and therefore opposed in the first round to the third in group B, built in the summer to aim for the jump in category.
A difference that the hermeines, who took the field with Allasia in the direction and Renieri opposite, Barbazeni and Babatunde (returning as owner after the knee operation) in the center, Miilen and Maruotti crushers and Caforio free, absolutely did not point out against the hosts, lined up with the Cumino-Taborelli diagonal, the Molinaro and Montani power plants, Populini and Hardeman at the wings and Bisconti free, moving forward up to 1 4-14 thanks in particular to Renieri, author of three direct points to the service and various winning attacks, and then controlling the progress of the game (13-21), until Taborelli’s decisive error.

Caforio and his teammates, however, found the strength to return to the match (5-8, 16-21) and bring the confrontation to the tie-break, in which they went ahead (1-4, Miilen’s attack) and from there they always kept his opponents at a distance (3-12 with a Babatunde block on Populini), celebrating Taborelli’s attacking error.
The fight did not end there. The two teams will meet on Wednesday for the return match in Olbia, with the players from Olbia now “seeing” the passage to the next round.
