Due to local coronavirus regulations in New York and San Francisco, the Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets Warriors must be vaccinated in their yards unless they apply for an exemption for medical or religious reasons.
Wiggins applied for an exemption from the university on religious grounds.
The league said in a statement: “The NBA has reviewed and rejected Andrew Wiggins’ request for religious exemption from the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s order for all participants in large indoor events 12 years and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19.” Kings will not be able to play Warriors games at home until he meets the city’s vaccination requirements.”

The NBA has reached an agreement this season so that all parties involved in the game-referees, coaches, staff, and anyone in close contact with players on and off the NBA arena-are vaccinated to participate in the game.
