The reporter learned from the press conference of the Hangzhou Asian Paralympics delegation heads meeting that the Hangzhou Asian Paralympic Games will open on October 9, 2022. There are 22 major events and 604 preset minor events in the competition.

Compared with the previous session, the Asian Para Games increased rowing, kayaking, go, taekwondo and futsal.

At present, the Hangzhou Asian Disabled Persons Organizing Committee has carried out barrier-free adaptation to the Asian Disabled Games Village and its sub-villages, and staff and volunteers will also receive training in helping the disabled etiquette and service skills.

From May to June next year, Hangzhou will host the World Championships in Goalball and Seated Volleyball for the blind, to further improve the conditions for the venues for barrier-free facilities and equipment.
