On the third day of the clock phase, the second consecutive defeat for Edimes Sanmaurense who, still lacking Pagetti and Degrada, falls on the Cerro Maggiore parquet with a score of 64-47.

After a hard fought first half (36-30 at 20 ‘), too many rebounds allowed and a sterile attacking phase (17 points in 20 minutes) condemned the guests in the second half, outclassed by the greater energy and aggression of the hosts (Peroni 15 points, Turano 12).

With this success Cerro consolidates the first place, while Edimes slips to third (even if AX Milano will not be able to access the playoffs due to the wild card).

In the first 5 ‘minutes of the game the two teams are equal: Sanmaurense finds several protagonists in the offensive phase including Ragni, but leaves too much freedom to Turano who punishes with 11 points in a row (11-11 at 5’). Maniero gets up hot from the bench (6 points), the guests line up in the area, but Trentini and Peroni punish with two triples for the +7 Cerro (23-16 at 10 ‘). The two teams struggle to find the way to the basket at the beginning of the second period: Degiorgio shakes his team with 7 points in the fourth, even if the hosts remain ahead at 20 ‘(36-30). Upon returning to the field the problems of fouls (4 for Infanti and Marcone) and in the offensive phase (only 3 points in the first 6 ‘) limit the Sanmaurense and Cerro takes advantage of it for the first real escape with the baskets of Trentini, Peroni and Scheppati ( 50-39 at 30 ‘). The difficulties for the guests continue even in the last fraction (first basket after 5 ‘), while the hosts place an 8-0 break for the +19 (58-39). The match basically ends here, also because the only one to achieve for the red and white is Marcone (8 points in the quarter): Cerro Maggiore wins 64-47.
