An investment is ready in Oristano to complete the citadel
ORISTANO. There is a goal to be achieved for 2022 by the Sardinia Regional Committee of the FIGC: the completion of the island Coverciano of Sa Rodia in Oristano with the creation of a sports medicine center of excellence. The president Gianni Cadoni said yesterday. “Medical examinations are often a serious problem for companies – he explained – and Oristano, due to its barycentric position, can really represent an excellent solution”.
Also in Oristano the launch of the School Project is scheduled, an intense day of sport and culture within the structure, reserved for girls and boys of primary and secondary schools. Sa Rodia has three 11-a-side football fields and two 5-a-side football fields. It also has a club house and offices of the provincial delegation of the Oristano amateur national team. Now a further investment in the sports citadel: the goal is to strengthen its role as a reference center for the entire regional football movement. The decision to build it in the center of Sardinia is linked to the fact – as Cadoni recalled – that it is possible to reach it from all parts of the island by covering a hundred kilometers. (st.am.)
