Some of the routes that the athletes will face in the Giro d’Italia 2022 and which become a challenge also for amateurs, who have always sought inspiration for their tours in both sporting and tourist terms, to discover the unique variety of the landscapes of our boot.
Exactly the reason that prompted Komoot – the largest digital platform for outdoor enthusiasts in the world – to decide to join the event as the “official route planner” of the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Giro. For the 105th edition, the cyclists will face 21 stages over three weeks, starting from 6 May with the prologue in Budapest and ending in Verona on 29 May.
The partnership with Komoot will allow cyclists to relive the emotions of each stage of the Giro, pedaling on the race tracks downloaded from the Komoot app or rescheduling them according to their needs. All the routes of the 21 stages of the Giro d’Italia are already available on the Komoot profile of the Giro d’Italia and on the official website of the race.
The experience will also be offered for those looking for quieter cycling experiences, given that more than 30 routes are available for download in the app for each region covered by the Giro, which can be downloaded for offline navigation on smartphones or synchronized on Gps devices.
