VARZI

Without Domenichetti, Toledo and Ranzetti, today Varzi takes the field again against Trino for the second pre-season test, after that of Rovetta (home of the grenade retreat) with Brusaporto. The injured have resumed working separately in order to recover from their respective physical problems (ankle sprains, muscle problems and blows from blows). Varzi trained on Friday and Saturday, with two daily sessions, after finishing his training camp in Rovetta on 17 August and having enjoyed two days of rest.

Today the friendly match is on the field of the LG Trino (at 5 pm), a formation that disputes the Piedmontese Excellence. Another test of approach to the championship and even before the Italian Cup which will see Varzi debut on Sunday 5 September at Chiappano against Sant’Angelo for the first match of group 16.

Mister Alessandro Pagano traces the balance of the retirement and the work the team is doing: «I am happy and satisfied. The boys worked seriously in Rovetta, forming a group on and off the field. And this helped a lot. We resumed in Rivanazzano, in our usual training ground, and I would say that the work is going well. The injured? They are recovering even if it will take a while to see them again as a group. The module? We are learning it, but it is not so automatic to immediately learn the mechanisms. However, I had everyone’s availability and therefore I am facilitated. The new friendly match with the Trino will be used to see the boys at work and I will initially send the less employed young people to the field to give them the opportunity to enter into a match atmosphere ». –
