CAGLIARI. The worsening of the Covid situation has prompted the interregional Department of the National Amateur League to postpone all four recoveries of the Serie D championship, group G, which should have been played tomorrow 5 January, to a date to be established. The last race to jump was Vis Artena-Arzachena (6 positives ascertained in the team group of the Lazio team), and which joins Gladiator – Team Nuova Florida, Afragolese-Torres, Carbonia-Aprilia Racing.
As regards the situation of the amateur leagues in Sardinia, the tournament of Excellence is being monitored in particular: the matches valid for the second return day should be played on Thursday. The conditional is a must since in the previous round of 30 December last Castiadas-Bosa and Ilvamaddalena-Ossese were postponed due to positive cases in the team groups of Bosa and Ossese. At the moment, no requests for postponement have been received at the headquarters of the FIGC regional committee either from the aforementioned teams or from the other teams involved. A definitive confirmation of this will be available tomorrow when an official press release will be issued, and updates will also be available on the competition program of January 9 of the other championships that will resume after the break for the Christmas holidays and the end of the year.
Meanwhile, again on January 6, three recoveries are played in Promotion Group A: Atletico Cagliari-Quartu 2000 (eighth round), Villamassargia- Gonnosfanadiga (tenth round), Fermassenti- Andromeda (eleventh round). Also on the program Monte Alma-Coghinas (13th first category round E).
