Thieves stole the tires from the car of Silvio Romero, former of América

Silvio Romero, former Club América player and current member of the Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, fell victim to a crime in his native Argentina. While he was training with his team, thieves stole the wheels of his car, leaving it unsupported on a hydraulic jack. Journalist Franco Veliz shared a photo of the theft on social media, showing Romero’s Nissan X-Trail without tires. This incident comes as car tire thefts become increasingly common in Argentina, occurring both during the day and at night.

Romero’s career has taken him from Mexico to Brazil and back to Argentina, where he began his professional soccer career. After playing for Chiapas and América in Mexico, he joined Club Atlético Independiente before moving to Fortaleza in Brazil. He recently returned to Instituto de Córdoba, where he started his career, earlier this year. Unfortunately, his return to Argentina has been marred by this criminal incident.
