We immediately name Mesagne the world capital of taekwondo. Yes, because when a town with just over 25,000 inhabitants manages to churn out two Olympic champions in 9 years (as many as the golds won by the United States in the Olympic history of the discipline), it is time to recognize that there, in those alleys full of Apulian baroque, there is the beating heart of this martial art.
