There are animals that enjoy a bad reputation and certainly not their fault: five of them are the protagonists of animated film ‘Too Bad’ (original title ‘The Bad Guys’), that is to say the classic bad wolf of fairy tales and then miss Tarantula, mister Shark, mister Piranha and mister Snake. Since their reputation precedes them, the five have decided to play with the cards that fate has given them and have become expert thieves, always intent on planning the next career shot, aiming for maximum profit. But one day Wolf begins to wonder if it is better to be good. After all, an old woman made him feel great by thanking him heartily for what she thought was a thoughtful gesture and which was actually a theft attempt gone wrong (we see it in the trailer).
The trailer dubbed in Italian
By the way: the song we listen to as we scroll through the images is the pop star’s ‘Bad Guy’ Billie Eilish.
Who is behind the film
The making of ‘Too Bad’ was handled by DreamWorks Animation, the production company that gave us ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘Shrek’, ‘Madagascar’, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and other highly successful titles. At the direction we find Pierre Perifel, who made his first feature film after a handful of shorts and after cutting his teeth in the animation department of DreamWorks: he worked for example on the three ‘Kung Fu Pandas’ and also on ‘The 5 legends’, ‘Monsters against aliens’ and ‘Shrek and they lived happily ever after’.
