Official statement: “No basis on the negotiations aired by some press organs”
CAGLIARI. “The Cagliari football club categorically denies the validity of what was reported in recent days by various media outlets about the alleged negotiation for the sale of the club to an international holding called Citic Holding IF Group LLC”.
This is the position of the rossoblù club which thus replies to the news and rumors circulated in recent weeks on the possible sale of the club by the president Tommaso Giulini. There is no negotiation underway, according to the Sardinian club.
But there was probably an approach. The problem is that evidently for now – this at least seems to be the position of the club – it has not turned into something more concrete and therefore into a real negotiation. The company, however, does not seem convinced at all at the moment. (HANDLE).
