América de Cali fans are anxious, as one of the most important signings for the club and Colombian football in the last 20 years could be closed.
The possibility of hiring the Chilean Arturo Vidal has the scarlet fans waiting. And much more with the versions about a possible agreement, which go against versions that Olimpia of Paraguay joined the interest and could snatch away the signing of ‘King Arthur’.
Thus, an official voice was needed to know the truth about the conversations with Vidal. And for that, Tulio Gómez, the largest shareholder of the scarlet club, appeared.
Tulio was clear and told details of the negotiations with Arturo Vidal. On his (X) Twitter account, the leader revealed: “At this time, Friday, January 12, 8 pm, we have not yet reached any agreement with Arturo Vidal.”
However, Gómez did not give up and assured that he will persist in hiring the Chilean. Of course, he made it clear what is missing to make the dream come true: “having it in América de Cali is what we want most, we will continue working to achieve it, we just need a sponsor and for the agent to lower it a little.”
