Ty Lue tries to shake up his Los Angeles Clippers after the home defeat against the Indiana Pacers, the 6th in the last 9 games.
He coaches he defined “soft” is the identity recently shown by the team.
“For us the identity should be different, we must play with physicality, physical and mental toughness, a powerful attack – we can score in many different ways – and a defensive mentality.
“And so, in this moment, do we have an identity? I think so, we are soft.”
Lue hopes that his Clippers will return to show the determination with which they frightened the rest of the League from the beginning of December to the end of January.
“The streak of 26 wins out of 31, we had a really great identity there,” Lue continues. “But you can’t choose when you want to command. You can’t choose when to have an identity. You can’t choose when to do things the right way.”
“We just need to do things in the right way to get out of this stalemate. We all need to get back to doing our best work.”
