Uneven goal height Garlasco-Magenta 0-3 appeal rejected

The appeal presented by Garlasco against the 0-3 defeat at the table for the match against Magenta, not played on March 27th due to the irregular height of the doors, was rejected. Confirmed, therefore, the victory of the Milanese who just last Sunday celebrated the mathematical victory of the championship. What happened on March 27th is not an unprecedented event, but nevertheless rare in which the Garlasque team had run into: the Magenta, in fact, before the start of the match, had presented a written reservation to the referee for the irregular height of the doors, a discrepancy then actually confirmed by the measurements made by the race director. At that point, Garlasco had restored the correct height of the gates, but during this operation some grooves had formed near both gates that the referee considered dangerous and so the match was not played. In the appeal, Garlasco had contested that Magenta’s written reservation had been presented by a manager instead of the team captain, that the height of the doors was measured with an unsuitable instrument, that the time allowed for restoration ( 45 minutes from the time fixed for the start of the race) was not correct and that the groove created near the doors was not dangerous. The sports judge, however, rejected all the objections of the Lomellina team. Therefore confirmed the 3-0 defeat at table and Garlasco who will play a lot on Sunday to obtain direct salvation in this Promotion championship: it will be essential to get a result away from Landriano on the field of a team with no more goals. Otherwise the lomellini risk being sucked into the full play out area. –
